Privacy, Data & Terms

Local-first by design.

PoseIQ is designed to minimise the collection and storage of personal information. For browser-based interactive experiences such as PoseIQ Labs, movement and camera processing is intended to happen on the user's device unless a feature clearly states otherwise.

For schools: PoseIQ Labs do not require student accounts. Camera access is requested only when an activity needs it. For current browser-based Labs, camera footage is processed locally in the browser and is not intentionally uploaded to or stored on PoseIQ servers.

Privacy & data handling

PoseIQ is operated by Arvinnovate Engineering Solutions Pty Ltd. We aim to collect only information needed to provide a feature and to keep processing on the user's device wherever practical.

Information stored on your device

Some PoseIQ tools store settings, results, movement libraries or other working data in the browser or on the device. This data may be lost if browser data is cleared, the browser is reset, or the device changes.

Accounts and personal information

Public PoseIQ Labs do not require a student account. If another PoseIQ service offers sign-in, syncing, uploads or sharing, that feature may have additional privacy information specific to that service.

Camera & video

Camera access is used only when you choose to start a camera-based PoseIQ feature. For current browser-based PoseIQ Labs, camera frames are analysed locally on the device and are not intentionally uploaded to or stored on PoseIQ servers.

If a future or separate PoseIQ feature allows a user to upload, save, sync, record or share video, that action will be user-initiated and may be covered by additional product-specific information.

Basic analytics

PoseIQ may use basic website or product analytics to understand whether pages and features are being used, improve reliability, and guide product development. We aim to keep this information minimal and separate from camera footage or movement video.

PoseIQ does not use student camera footage for advertising or marketing profiling.

Sharing & third-party services

Some PoseIQ products may let users intentionally share a link, export information, open an external service, or upload content. Users are responsible for having the appropriate rights and permissions for information they choose to share.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Product-specific pages may provide additional details where services such as Google or YouTube are used.

PoseIQ Share has additional product-specific information at workflow.poseiq.com/privacy and workflow.poseiq.com/terms.

Terms of use

PoseIQ tools are provided for educational, research, fitness, coaching, movement, performance and rehabilitation-support purposes, depending on the specific product.

Not medical advice

Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific regulated product, PoseIQ browser tools and Labs are not medical devices and do not diagnose, treat, prevent or monitor a medical condition. They do not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

User responsibility

Users, educators, coaches, clinicians and other facilitators are responsible for selecting appropriate activities, providing suitable supervision, obtaining required permissions and using PoseIQ in a safe context.

Content and permissions

You are responsible for content you record, upload, link, share or submit through a PoseIQ feature and must have the necessary rights, authority and consent to use that content.

Availability

PoseIQ services may change as they are developed. Features can depend on browser support, device capabilities, internet access and third-party services. Services are provided on an "as available" basis unless otherwise agreed.
